Now Hiring – Principal Executive Administrator (Contract)

Principal Responsibilities

In this key role, you will be David’s “right hand” in administering and operating most aspects of this platform and community.   

As you help alleviate some of the pressure from David’s “full plate,” you will identify opportunities for further expansion of our vision.  

This is a community-facing role that also has a back-office component.

Detailed Description of Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Execute administrative, operational, creative, and educational tasks and mini-projects as described below.
  2.  Attend weekly meetings with David to discuss strategic initiatives, priorities and projects.
  3. Conduct research into administrative processes, procedures, and matters of law.
  4. Manage and support all subscribed members, and continually improve the quality of membership resources.
  5. Help update the website and social media as required.
  6. Organize digital assets and create efficient back-office workflows.
  7. Negotiate with partners, vendors, and contractors.
  8. Contribute to the creation or improvement of academy courses and educational materials.
  9. Help David execute and test administrative processes for remedy.
  10. Find and attend online and presential events relevant to the principal mission.
  11. Help David recruit and hire additional contractors, partners, and volunteers.
  12. Help identify opportunities for further improvement in any aspect of the platform.

Required Skills and Experience

  1. You have at least two (2) years of relevant experience with similar work or projects.
  2. You share our visions and you have values and principles that align with our overall objectives.
  3. You are self-motivated and capable of taking the initiative.
  4. You can prioritize our work together to minimize interruptions or disruptions. 
  5. You can contribute a substantial percentage of your time towards our work together.
  6. You are meticulous and detail-oriented in your administrative work.
  7. You don’t rush to “get more done,” but instead give tasks the required time to complete properly.
  8. You have a reasonable foundation and ability with online administrative tools like spreadsheets and business applications.
  9. You are good at following detailed instructions and in providing constructive feedback.

Working Terms

  1. This is not an offer for employment; you will not be an employee of the organization.
  2. This is not an offer for trusteeship.
  3. You will be compensated fairly for your work; we will discuss and negotiate the specific terms privately.
  4. You may be bound to more specific terms and conditions; we will discuss before executing an agreement.
  5. Your work will be judged by the quality of workmanship and the results in terms of our objectives; we may not continue to work together if your work product is deficient or insufficient.
