David, why do you charge for membership access? Why not just give it away for free?
There are three main reasons why membership is not free:
- Operating this project requires resources, as there are real costs associated with all of the systems used, such as this website, the online platform, etc. Additionally, there are costs associated with mentorship and education to continue learning and growing in this realm. And as this project and community grow, additional resources will be required.
- “A workman is worthy of his hire.” While I voluntarily give away as much of my knowledge for free as possible, via the free live workshops, I do value my time and effort, and I expect to be fairly compensated, just as you should for yourself.
- Nothing of value in life is free, and I’m intentionally charging (only $7.77/month!) as a way to filter out people who have a poor mindset around making the necessary sacrifice of (a small amount of) resources in order to gain valuable knowledge.
Having said all that, volunteering is an alternative way to pay for membership without using FRNs.
How can I access my membership privileges, like workshop replays, templates, etc?
You’ll find everything on the online course platform.
Thinkific hosts the course, and we use a private-label version under the Conditional Acceptance brand.
The URL is https://members.conditionalacceptance.com. This is the permanent link and you may bookmark it; it’s also easy to remember.
You’ll log in using the same email address you entered when you purchased the subscription.
You’ll also receive a welcome email inviting you to set your password the first time you log in.
I recommend checking your spam or junk mail folder if the welcome email isn’t in your inbox.

You can use the “forgot password?” prompt on the login screen
When I log in, I do not see any courses on the main screen – it’s empty!
Once logged in, click “My Dashboard” to view your enrollments and access courses, templates, and more.
Isn’t Thinkific a paid service? I don’t want to pay more to access it!
You don’t have to pay anything for use of Thinkific; access is already included in your membership.
The videos won’t play; I can’t view or download PDFs or templates, etc
It can be frustrating when you run into technical support issues accessing your online course and resources. Fortunately, in our experience, 99% of the issues can be resolved by taking the following actions:
- If possible, always access resources from a desktop or laptop computer, rather than a mobile device.
- Make sure you’ve enabled cookies when browsing the membership site.
- Clear your browser cache and / or access from a different browser.
I can’t access the assets in Google Drive anymore
Now that we’ve migrated to Thinkific (see above,) access to Google Drive has been fully revoked. If you feel that a particular resource is not available online, then please send me a message.
How do I cancel my membership?
When you enrolled, you receive an email from Stripe with access to your subscription. You may use the link to cancel at any time. If you can’t find the link, please send me a message via the website and reference the email address you used to enroll.
